Last week, we have participated in a wonderful project. It was a photo shoot of wedding gowns by Lilia Haute Couture and wedding pearl jewelry created by Jewelry Olga. For the photo shoot, we have chosen a great place. We have decided to do it in the Botanical Garden of Montreal.
I have been living in Montreal for many years. However, I should admit that I have been in the Botanical Garden much time ago. It often happens that we have marvelous places around us. And we rarely go there to enjoy their beauty and uniqueness. As a result, we miss a lot. Maybe one day we will regret about this.
Fortunately, thanks to our shooting, I have re-discovered this famous place. The Botanical Garden of Montreal was founded in 1931. Not by chance people call it one of the important botanical gardens in the world. Its thematic gardens and greenhouses host a lot of interesting, often, rare spices.
So, our project was to take photos of beautiful wedding gowns and wedding pearl jewelry as an accessory. A talented Montreal designer Lilia, owner of Lilia Haute Couture, has created gorgeous wedding dresses. For her wedding gowns, Lilia uses the best imported silk fabrics and luxurious French laces. Each piece of her collection is unique as it is custom-made.
Chinese Garden
It was my first photo shoot in the Botanical garden. I should admit that it was a great idea to have it there. We have chosen the Chinese Garden as a photo shoot place. Once you see it, you will never forget it. With its winding paths, an artificial mountain and a waterfall, it creates a very special atmosphere. Of subtle elegance and refinement.
It was a perfect background to show the beautiful wedding dresses and stunning wedding pearl jewelry. Indeed, the background is extremely important if you want to show a nice dress or a piece of jewelry. Depending on a background, it will look differently. Our goal was to highlight the refinement and elegance of the wedding dresses skillfully embellished with luxurious lace and embroidery. And to show the statement pieces of designer pearl jewelry that we have created for this particular event.
And here, delicate trees, flowers, architecture created a certain atmosphere. Of charm, refinement, and uniqueness. A perfect background.
It was one of those lovely days when everyone felt happy and looked beautiful. The best time to take photos. The sun, a light breeze, blue sky…. Lots of color and energy. Once in a while, a cloud was passing in the sky diffusing the sun light. However, the rays of the sun were still coming through. This added more glamour to the photos.
The models looked amazing in their long exquisite white gowns. And I understand why almost every girl is dreaming about a wedding ceremony. Because she will be dressed like a princess and she will be feeling a princess on this unforgettable day. Actually, every woman needs to feel like this.
Unfortunately, that time I was unable to enjoy the beautiful diversity and richness of the Botanical Garden as we were concentrating on our project. However, the photo shoot gave me a wonderful opportunity to work with a great team of devoted people and to take excellent photos of my wedding pearl jewelry.
