As I have already mentioned, color is also one of the trends. Thus, we embellished our tin cup pearl necklace with dark-purple amethyst . The Pantone Color of the Year is Ultra Violet, amethyst being one of the classic violet gemstones. I like amethyst as this is a beautiful gemstone with an appealing color. It may vary from very light lavender to dark purple.
